Himalayan Curry House - Oakland

The restaurant lived up to the reviews we had read. The food was excellent - fresh, flavorful, and served in generous portions. The service was good and the atmosphere cozy. Despite its small size, we felt comfortable and were able to have a pleasant conversation. Additionally, parking was not an issue. We enjoyed the Nepalese cuisine, which was similar to Indian food. Overall, we had a positive experience and plan to return.

This is definitely one of our top choices for takeout. The curries are all full of flavor and delicious, and the samosas and momo are fantastic as well. The coconut naan is a unique and incredible addition to the menu. Their mango chutney pairs perfectly with everything!

Good quality food. Chicken tikka masala not fatty, but flavorful.
