Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy grandson wanted dumplings after the movies so we went to this restaurant which proved to be a good choice. Very spacious and busy. The staff were friendly and efficient. Food was good. I loved the San Choy Bow. Reasonably priced. The amazing bonus for me was that when I went to pay for our bill the lady behind the counter told me someone had already paid for us! I was pleasantly surprised, in fact I thought she was mistaken so I gave her the table number and she smiled repeating that our bill had been taken care of. Wow!
My partner and I took our 20-month-old son out for lunch. The appetizers and drinks came out promptly, but we waited almost an hour for our main courses and then another 10 minutes for our son's meal. When we wanted another drink, we had to flag down a waitress who seemed annoyed by our request. Overall, we were extremely disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant.
We were amazed by how quickly our order arrived at the restaurant. The service was very fast and our meals were hot, flavorful, and generously portioned. The price was also very reasonable, coming to $77.60 for 4 main courses. We will definitely return when we are in the Marion area again.
The service at this restaurant was good and friendly. Two out of the three dishes we tried were good, with the satay being particularly excellent. However, the salt and pepper prawns lacked any seasoning or flavor, and I experienced severe stomach cramps and diarrhea the next morning. This was my first time dining out since Covid and unfortunately, I was not happy with the experience. It was concerning to see the staff using their fingers instead of tongs to handle food, as this goes against proper hygiene practices that are essential for avoiding foodborne illnesses. This is a common issue that is often highlighted on TV shows like MasterChef. It's important for all restaurants, not just this one, to prioritize hygiene in order to prevent customers from getting sick. This experience has deterred me from returning to this bistro.
Had a delicious lunch, reasonable prices, good selection of choices. I enjoyed the Hokkien Mee dish whilst hubby had the Singapore Noodles. Both were generous serves and presented promptly.
