Our dinners and salsa bar were great good food. Our waitress was excellent and attentive to our needs. We, as a family, had a wonderful time, dined on the patio with lots of laughter and fun. A photographer came around and took several pictures with a few family members missing. They asked her to return when everyone would be at the table, but that did not happen. More pictures would have been purchased if all members were present at the table. The missing members were in the rest room while the pictures were being taken. We were celebrating a special time a 4 generation family! I like to judge a restaurant not only by its food and service, but also the cleanliness of the bathrooms. There was water all over the floor, wet toilet paper laying around it was not a pleasant place to be. I would never take a child in this bathroom! It was not good!
This is my second time here, we had a great experience the first time but this time was different, we drove from torrance , ca to have a meal here... this time our server wasn’t as friendly at first I’m guessing she thought we were a happy hour family.... No we were there for my birthday .... our dirty plates sat at table the whole time we were there.... it wasn’t even crowded ..... she was fine after we ordered our 200$ meal...food is a great deal if you love lobster .... service wasn’t as good like first time...
Everything turned out absolutely perfectly! From the reservation easily made on Open Table, to our greeting by the restaurant receptionist, the location of our table, comfortable and cozy with heater on. We ordered Blood Orange margueritas and Lobster Lover’s Combo, complimentary chips and salsa of our choice....outstanding food, great service! It was a wonderful way to relax and dine after a long and busy day in San Diego. Cudos to The Rockin Baja in Oceanside.
I was meeting my sister-in-law who is very disabled. The entire staff was very helpful to both of us. The outdoor seating was a bit less noisy, which I appreciated alot. The food, I had the seafood melt, was excellent and she enjoyed her fish and chips. I really appreciated that we were not rushed. This was the first time we had met and the staff gave us time to relax and talk. Thank you so much.
