We stay several times a year and continue to love this old historic lodge. The great hall is a nice place to hang out with giant fireplace. This weekend was really busy with a wedding so unfortunately we were in a room on the third floor that literally shares a wall with the elevator. If you're given 201 or 301, and you're a light sleeper, ask for another room. I was up all night listening to the elevator go up and down like a Ferris wheel until 2 AM. Luckily a room in the new wing on the 2nd floor opened up on the second night which was beautiful, much more spacious and quiet.
Stayed in cabin. Great location. Cabins need updating. Dim lighting, not enough outlets, bathroom very old the age makes it look dirty. (It was not). Needs more seating table in all rooms. For the condition of the room , it is overpriced.
My chicken sandwich was EXCELLENT! Love the vibe of the outdoor patio. Always a great time!
Eating outside on the veranda is enjoyable, the food is good, and it's reasonably priced (only slightly on the higher side).
