A really really cute bakery with vegan sandwiches. The coffee is great and there are some cute wooden tables and chairs to have a sit and enjoy! The perfect place for Vegans to have their breakfast in Okayama.
This slow-paced bakery/cafe offers many wonderful breads made with whole grains and a vegan sandwich with your choice of two spreads (both confirmed vegan). I also had a nice soy latte. The atmosphere is relaxing and has a hippy-ish vibe. Not a place to visit when you're in a hurry, unless you just want to buy some bread, as the sandwiches take awhile to come out of the kitchen. They have a small grocery across the street. Is located a few hundred meters from JR Okayama station- close enough so that I could walk over, even with heavy luggage. The Market is very close to the station, and it is a good place to have lunch. They sell vegan sandwiches, and a variety of sweets. They also sell sourdough bread and raisin bread for 550 yen per loaf.
We came there for sandwiches but got them only with boiled vegetables, no spread. Not really that good that way. They seemed really unsure if they were vegan but seemed to understand what vegan was.
