Contribuir a la retroalimentación(Junction Coffee)Location: 611 N Broadway, OKC, 73102, between NW 5th NW 6th Streets, close to 5th Ave Lofts.Company: Junction Coffee (JC) started their coffee business in a 1974 double decker bus in 2014, and named her Maebelle. Then in 2018 got a mobile home larger than a coffee truck, a tiny house, and named it Tiny Tess Both the bus and the mobile home went to most of the parks in OKC and surrounding areas to offer drinks to those at events or just out exercising at the parks.JC named the company Junction as they liked the definition, a place or point of meeting. Many of their earnings go towards supporting the community and numerous charities and causes.JC recently opened a permanent location, brick and mortar as we say, in Automobile Alley, and their grand opening was Tuesday, 12 Oct 2021. They wanted to offer a more permanent, definite location, for their coffee fans to be able to go get their favorites.They still have Maebelle, the bus, and in a few weeks will have it out again a few times a week or month. Tiny Tess was sold and is no longer a part of JC.Hours: Mon-Fri 630am-6pmSat: 8am-6pmSun: closedCoffee: They use Prelude Coffee Roasters coffee.JC offers typical coffee and tea drinks like lattés, espressos, cappuccinos, americanos, cortados, drips, chai, green and English teas, and seasonal drinks, with their flavored syrups you choose, and milk options you want. They make their own syrups as well. They offer almond, and oat milk alternatives. They have hot chocolate as well.Sizes: They offer anywhere from 2-4oz in espresso shots to typical 8oz, 12oz, and 16oz.Food: They offer bakery items and breakfast sandwiches and croissants.Bldg: They are in a medium grey brick building with four vertical glass windows, in between two other businesses, across from the glass building which Heartland occupies a space.Decor: inside has light red, red, and creme brick. There are four white tables with four brown leather chairs at each one. The chairs are very soft and comfortable. The coffee bar countertop is wood with black metal chairs to sit on. They have two small tables with two chairs.JC has a mosaic hanging in the back, made by a local artist, with 500 coffee mugs, depicting 2 coffee mugs with steam coming out of them.My experience: I first experienced their coffee from mobile Tiny Tess, in Midtown back in March 2020 during a morning caffeine crawl, before Covid19 mayhem and madness shut the mighty world down. Yes too many M words in that sentence. I got the cold brew called Cold Fashioned with orange syrup, bitters, maraschino cherry and an orange slice in it which was amazing, mildly sweet, and like a caffeine dessert you want more of.My second experience was at the new permanent shop the 4th day of their grand opening. I got the fall seasonal Bourbon Barrel Aged Maple Latté with almond milk. It's nice and creamy without too much sugar.Owners/Staff: The owners, Nick and Lori, manage and make the coffee, drinks, most pastries, etc.. Jordan also manages and I met Alex and she started as a customer then worked on the bus Maebelle for 4-5 months before they opened the brick shop. They and the rest of the staff were all nice and friendly, just like what I experienced back in 2020 in Tiny Tess.Takeaway: I’ll definitely be coming here for my Lattés and Coffees a Latté, especially to try all of their seasonal drinks.{Posted on Mon, 18 Oct 2021}
Incredible place. Beautiful and wonderful people! The most amazing owners! So thankful to have a place like this in OKC.
Our family loves to visit junction coffee on Saturday morning! the gals behind the theke are always so sweet for our small child (which like to get the child size steamed milk.) the atmosphere is welcome whether they are there to study, to visit with friends or to take young children. the coffee is also hard to beat!
Junction Coffee definitely lives true to their motto, “great friends, great coffee” and I’m ecstatic that they’ve opened a brick mortar location. Their opening brings a great addition to the already favorable Automobile Alley. You’ll find smiling faces, friendly hospitality, and comfortable seating here and if that doesn’t make you wanna hang out here, I don’t know what could. Not to mention, they just so happen to be right on my way to work at the hospital. GIDDY UP!
I love Junction Coffee! While their drinks are a bit pricey, I love supporting a local business like this. It is always fun trying to see where the bus is at throughout the week and trying to catch it before it closes, but now Junction Coffee has a storefront on Broadway too! The grand opening was today and the atmosphere in the store was great. I love their coffee and I highly recommend checking Junction Coffee out if you are in OKC and looking for a small coffee shop vibe.
