It should be an upscale restaurant, but gives you the feeling of a dive. Our waiter was really good and attentive because we were right there when they opened. The owner has cleared out orders to his employees about “purchasing the special”. Only was not the elevated experience we expected.
Our server was fabulous. The lobster bisque was also fantastic. Unfortunately, the rest of our meal was not so great. My husband rarely ordered a ribbed medium that covered with fat and tasted like “earthbeef”. My file was better, but it wasn't as good as possible. The potatoes were decent, but the asparagus was over boiled and the truffle risotto had too much truffle (and I am a lover of truffles). The server took off my husband's rib, which was very appreciated. Unfortunately we really wanted to like this place, but it wasn't almost as good as we hoped it would be. I have heard that they are awarded with other things on their menu next to Steak, so maybe we just ordered the wrong one.
