This restaurant experience was very disappointing. My wife and I ordered the surf and turf and were served a burnt piece of steak topped with poorly seasoned seafood. It cost us over $100 which was not worth it. The quality of the food has definitely declined since our previous visits.
Have never left an assessment, but that was absolutely one of the worse meal I've ever had. very disappointed. on a positive note was our server excellent and I enjoyed the atmosphere!
On Saturday night, the restaurant was very busy. There was a bartender, but it took 20 minutes to order an old fashioned drink. Our table was ready for us at our reservation time, but we had to wait for a few more people to arrive. The server did not ask if we wanted to start with drinks while we waited, so we sat for 20 minutes without anything to sip on. When we finally placed our food orders, one dish took longer than the rest to come out. Most of us ordered steak with roasted potatoes, but the steak was overcooked and not very enjoyable. One person in our group ordered shrimp and said it was delicious. When asked about dessert or another round of drinks, the server took 20 minutes to return. At that point, we were all ready to head home. Throughout the evening, we noticed that the entire waitstaff seemed to be hanging out in the kitchen area. Despite the fair pricing, the overall experience was lacking.
We were just there tonight, my wife, I and 2 sisters. My wife and I had the bone in ribeye and it was the best steak we've had in a long time. Done right and tasted good. We go to the Ding a Ling quite often. Waitresses and hostess always pleasant.
