Toothsome Chocolate Emporium & Savory Feast Kitchen

I am giving 5 stars simply based on the macaroons. They are amazing! We booked reservations last minute after finding a cancelation for just dessert. We decided to try dinner to avoid going back through the crowds. Food is okay but the dessert options make up for it. Very interesting place and the kids loved it.

I would say the place is a solid 3.5. Food is good not exceptional. Desserts are over the top. Some may be looking for that, others may want something more subdued. The service was pleasant even though they were busy. What we had Chocolate bread dark chocolaty, no one was a big fan Nachos they used potato chips instead of tortilla chips. Didnt really work for me Reuben I enjoyed my reuben. But nothing spectacular about it Super greens salad this was phenomenal. Loved it! Kids meal chicken and rice little seasoned. Added soy sauce for some flavoring for both my kids. After that alteration they loved the dish. Margherita flatbread my daughter who loves her pizza did not like the flat bread. The waitress who served us was gracious enough to not count this dish on our bill Kid portioned mac and cheese edible. Dont know how to really rate mac and cheese Other notes. If you plan to eat here without a reservation make sure you get here before free parking opens up at 6pm Wait staff can make any reasonable alterations. 1) tater tots are not offered with the sandwiches but they were able to accommodate 2) plain mac and cheese isnt offered, but they were able to do it for my daughter

I could not get a reservation after 930 clock, so tried a walk at the opening. I sat in 20 minutes. then the waiting time started. the service was very slow. menu descriptions sounded amazing, but what was plagued was not quite consistent, what was disappointing. I wanted to love it, but I couldn't. eating was ok, but ok. for us it is one and done. do not want to pay high prices for ok eating and slow service.

We started a rough note. the host had either a bad day or didn't like his job. we checked in and wait. twenty minutes later (after our reservation) I heard that he told another family that they would get a text if their table was ready. Why did I look after getting a text?! ah. so I checked again. Previously, eating was excellent, the milkshakes were delicious. warning: the milkshake cups are plastic (which is good), but they are not dishwasher or hot water safe. my man melted us right away.

Family of 7 had dinner at Chocolate Emporium while on vacation at Universal to celebrate a birthday. Service was extremely slow, we didn’t get our food until over an hour after ordering. Food was marginal at best. A hamburger that was ordered well done was bright red in the middle. We sent it back and requested it be taken off the bill, which it was not until we told the waitress a second time after the bill came. Plain vanilla Milkshakes ordered without the extra cake, sprinkles etc. were very lackluster as far as flavor and still $16, same price as the overly stuffed fancy ones. Will not return.
