Had our wedding here May 7th 2016. We were very happy with everything & our guests had an amazing time. We would highly recommend this venue to anyone for events. Planning our wedding with Diane was very stress free throughout the entire process. We did a retro 50's theme & were very pleased when we arrived seeing everything looking even better than we had imagined it would be. For dinner our guests had a choice between prime rib or maple glazed salmon. Everyone was very happy with their meal & the speed at which it was served. Best food I have had at a wedding for sure! For late night we had the poutine bar, which was a hit as well. The gazebo out back is a great spot for ceremony & lots of grounds for photos. We got the D.J recommended by the rolling acres (Darryl). I had a very specific playlist which was followed thoroughly & our guests were on the dance floor all night.
We had our wedding at Rolling Acres on February 25,2017. What a wedding it was!! We planned the entire wedding in 2 months. From the start, Diane made the whole process stress free. The place looked amazing, meal was excellent, service fantastic. Our guests are still raving about it!! The DJ Darryl -suggested by Diane- did an excellent job -you know he was good when everyone complained of sore feet!! We would highly recommend this venue!!Thanks Diane, Louie,Tanya and everyone else (sorry I forgot your names). It was nice to deal with such friendly people. ❤️
This location has been a lot of restaurant and club type venues over the decades, but most recently, as Rolling Acres Diner & Banquet Hall, it has become one of the nicer venues in the area. The owners and staff are very accommodating. We attended a triple birthday celebration...one 50th and 2 25th's - same family, and held together on the same Friday night. Approximately 100 people attended. The venue provided the buffet evening 'meal' - veggies, fruit, pickles, cold cuts and buns, and allowed the hosts of the party to add their own salads and chips for the table...the venue even provided the chip bowls. The bar was open and guests purchased the drinks themselves, although I am sure other arrangements can be made, especially for a wedding, for instance, if you want to pay the bar tab as part of the celebration. A DJ had been hired, and a great time was had by all. A very clean place (even the bathrooms are beautiful). The grounds are lovely, too. This would also be a perfect venue for a wedding.
I went to Rolling Acres for lunch and it was very delightful! Alisha was my waitress and she was the sweetest thing ever. The food was amazing and would definitely recommend to others if they are looking for an awesome place to eat.
