When the food finally arrived to was vile. All of the salad had seen better days, slimy lettuce and soggy radish that tasted of big water. The Korean beef was grim and such a small portion, an utter disappointment. Chicken Katsu was barely edible with a very questionable cut, rice that was dry and a greasy sauce again accompanied by a grim selection of soggy veg. Finally a chicken burger so disgusting it couldn’t be eaten at all. Overall a disappointing, bordering disgusting waste of time and money. Don’t make the same mistake we did.
We have been maybe 7 times to Bamboo and it's always great food, if you like Korean specialities. Next time we're gonna try the Ramen.
If you enjoy subpar food, unclean restrooms, inadequate service, and butchered English, then this establishment is perfect for you on a Saturday night. The sole server tends to vanish for extended periods, so our suggestion is to seek assistance from her 10-year-old daughter.
The restaurant offered a variety of delicious dishes including kimchi, steamed fish, aubergine pot, stir-fried cabbage, kimchi pancake, and soybean paste tofu stew. The food was absolutely fantastic with no frills. The kimchi was the best I've ever had, and the steamed fish was silky and delicious. The kimchi pancake was a crowd favorite and the cabbage was surprisingly flavorful. The aubergine pot had an authentic, Chinese flavor. The tofu stew was a bit lacking as the tofu was not as soft as expected, but the broth was warm and comforting. The menu also included Chinese dishes, and my friend thoroughly enjoyed his bbq pork. Overall, it was a great dining experience with delicious food.
It seemed like the waiting staff did not know what they were doing and the food when it arrived was about as Korean as a Vesta meal. I wasted my money paying for the food we did get and eat.
