Shan's Grill - Palatine

Food is amazing- it’s very flavorful and you get a lot for how much you pay! Will def be coming back every time I crave Indian food.

It wasn't pleasant experience with dine in. It may be good for carry out but never ever go for dine in. First of all your waiting 2 minutes turn into 25 minutes and you might wait for more if you need something in between. One man show. There is bad table service but still charge for gratuity. No free water, No washroom for even hand wash. Food was ok but not great. Definitely not recommendable.

I don't write these usually but I gotta for this guy because he's the nicest dude ever and it's my favorite restaurant in Palatine. Wonderful wonderful food. Very good at tailoring spice for your taste level (in my case pretty high) and I would say if you like it spicy do ask for it. One man show for the time being but he's a champ for working as hard as he does.

After living a few blocks away for 4 years we noticed a “new” Pak-indian food place right by the house. It wasn’t new, the building had been cleaned up and it just stood out for the first time. They’ve been there for a decade or so, maybe longer. The owner happened to be cooking, I met his parents, and felt extremely welcome. He humbly explained that his his butter chicken would be the best we’ve ever had, and he was spot on. The nan, the sauces, the rice… all exceptional. Must Try!

Took a little time getting our food because there was only one waiter but it was worth the wait. The food was fresh, hot and delicious!
