Since moving to the new location, we've order ToGo once, and it wasn't very good. (At that point, they weren't doing dine in. We didn't go back for a very long time. Today I decided to give it another try after hearing great things about others' experiences. Staff was friendly. Place looked cleaned. No bad smells like some of the places in that shopping center. I had high hopes. I ordered the steak hibachi exactly the way I used to order it at the other location. It was overly salty, but otherwise tasted ok. I was very disappointed that they no longer have egg, peas, or carrots in the fried rice, and no longer have carrots in the vegetable mix. I have always ordered the veggies without the mushrooms and zucchini, and ask that they just put in extra carrots and/or broccoli instead. All I got was rice with no veggies or egg, steak, and a small amount of broccoli with onions. I ordered my food off the the lunch menu during the lunch menu time frame. I thought perhaps the portion of broccoli was small because the lunch portion is smaller on purpose. I asked the server about the missing veggies, and he said they just don't make it the same way anymore, but if I ask for carrots in the veggie mix, they will add them. I did say I wanted carrots, but didn't get them. I had to wait quite a while for my food, despite there only being 1 other person in the restaurant when I arrived. Someone did come over and apologize for the delay, which I appreciated. That same lady came back when I was only about halfway done with my food and left the ticket and a fortune cookie. She didn't ask if I needed anything else or anything. Just showed up with the bill and left it on the table. Although she said to take my time, it came off as her hurrying me up. As I had patiently waited on my food to be made, and it took longer than it should have, I was a little offended. I bit my tongue. My daughter joined me and would have ordered food, but saw that I already had my check. She decoto just go elsewhere. I was absolutely insulted though when I realized that I had been charged for the more expensive dinner menu rather than the lunch menu...after having to wait so long for my food and getting less food than I asked for! They had already been yelled at by the other patron because he had to wait to pay his check because no one was in the front of house. He had been rather rude about it and yelled out that either someone come take his money or he was leaving without paying. By that time there were more customers. Everyone was gawking at what was happening. All of the other tables were regular customers, and were clearly treated better than those of us who weren't. Not really sure if I want to go somewhere where I am treated like that.
What Asain restaurant’s lunch menu does not include an egg roll. I have never seen that in my entire life! They won’t let you order a single or double. It appears they want to force you to pay 5.95 to get a four piece and people will not do that at lunch. Wake up Asain City. Word of advice. If your not going to include an egg roll with your lunch then At least offer two at 1/2 the price and you will see egg roll sales go up. Food was good otherwise.
As far as tonight's meal, it was not their best. They have done better; but better than other options in town. Definitely will do business with them in the future.
Great little Chinese place. This is not a buffet. It's a menu only place. The service was great. The food tasted good. The portions were big for the price. Their new location is a lot bigger than the old one. We will definitely come back here.
