Very good sushi! Quick! Sent complimentary stuff! Thank you!
Really good sushi, and the filled jalapeños is a must!
This sushi restaurant is not the worst in the valley, but certainly not the best either. After trying six different sushi restaurants, this ranked as our second least favorite. Cathedral City actually has two of the best sushi places, and if you're in downtown Palm Springs, Sandfish is the way to go. Next week, we plan to try Taka Shin and see how it compares. We always order raw fish and compare the same cuts, and while Oishi has decent cuts, they all have a slightly fishy taste. Their wasabi and ginger are also terrible. The staff is friendly, but we won't be returning. For a decent price, Otori in Cathedral City is a good option, or if you're willing to spend more for a nice atmosphere, try Sandfish. We'll stick with Taka Shin and keep them informed.
The food was delicious. The staff was always friendly and attentive. The restaurant was clean and well-maintained.
