Bear's Belly Bbq At Fox Run Lodge

Order from there earlier this week and it was terrible!!! I moved here from Georgia, so I know good BBQ and that was the complete opposite. I got the pulled pork sandwich and the meat tasted and looked like it was cooked or something. Absolutely no kick OR SMOKE RING! The Mac n cheese was cold and again no taste with the Brisket!! Would not recommend this place or go back.

My husband and I have eaten several times here. I love the pulled pork sandwich and he goes for the ribs. Our favorite pages are cheerful geese and scratched greens. The maize bread is excellent - about the best we ever tasted. Sometimes we eat on the deck to enjoy the view of Lake Matanuska. But if it's cold outside, the view of the lake from inside is still good.

Homey atmosphere, meat cooked so delicate you can cut it with a spoon, corn bread to die for, pages so good you want to ask for more. This small local business is friendly and welcoming and when you eat on the deck, the view of the lake is very good and relaxing. Great place to visit!

Due to the excellent reviews we went here for dinner. The service was very friendly and the view of the lake is very beautiful. We were also cancelled. We ordered the bear bell for two people and from the first appearance everything seems good. But when we started, we realized that the food wasn't really hot. Each meat on the plate was heated. The skin of the chicken was nothing but crispy and the ribs did not taste like fresh from the smoker. We never expected that from a restaurant with such good reviews.

I ate here and took it home I ate my food after it was 20 mins old.. Still the best darn BBQ this side of Alaska I am from the South and there food reminds me of home/ southern comfort.. Very happy they are here in Palmer! About to order more lol.
