Bel Canto - Paris

A dinner surrounded by opera singers? Yes it is true and possible. My girlfriend and I were in Paris and advised by relatives to visit this place. Definitely a must do if you like opera singing. The singers change venue each day, a mix of male and female voices, tenor, baryton, soprano, alto, most of them represented on our night, singing a selection of some of the most famous opera songs. Very enjoyable and the food was really quite good too.

Une soirée qui s'annonçait originale, et qui est devenue exceptionnelle.De très bons plats, de l'entrée au dessert, des chanteurs très talentueux...Que l'on connaisse l'opéra ou non, on ne peut qu'apprécier un moment passé au Bel Canto.L'équipe est très sympathique, les chanteurs-serveurs partagent leur passion en discutant un petit peu en fin de soirée. Le tout dans la bonne humeur et la convivialité!

Ce restaurant mérite le détour pour son originalité. Certains serveurs sont également de jeunes chanteurs d'opéra venus d'horizon très variés ( France, canada, Corée...) . Leur prestation est de très bon niveau et ils savent faire agréablement participer la salle. Ils sont souriants, sympathiques.Lors de notre dernier passage fin juillet, les voix étaient particulièrement belles et les morceaux choisis très variés.Un moment agréable pour les amateurs d'opéra, d'opérettes...Petit bémol : la nourriture gagnerait à être un peu améliorée. Elle est correcte sans plus...

My second time to Bel Canto and I took my girlfriend and her 11 year old daughter. Fortunately this child is very mature with an amazingly sophisticated palate-yet is still half price. Menu price is fixed at 85 euros and is a bargain. During the wonderful dining experience you are serenaded by the wait staff who are trained opera singers! They truly enjoy themselves which is evident. But if you cannot be quiet when they sing, don't go- the other guests will appreciate your absence and enjoy the performances more! The Bel Canto experience is truly special!
