Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónMy copian is going to be twenty years since he is going to eat there. Every time we come to Paris, it is a mandatory stop. The small army of delicious ladies who welcome us is always nice and smiling. The recipe of the sauce, a mystery that has always delighted us
Simply the best steak frites in Paris (as per concept you get two services) I come here multiples times every years and the atmosphere and quality is always equal. The staff (all woman’s) are all friendly and efficient. The meat is tender like butter, the fries are deliciously crispy and the salad is perfectly seasoned. Best to be first to queue at ten to noon if you don’t want to be waiting in line for too long. Both the indoor and the terrace are lovely.
I have been going to this restaurant for years. My recent visit was simply terrible. The steaks were obviously overtreated with tenderizing. The taste was nothing like a meat. The fries were hard obviously fried in old cooking old. Definitely not worth the money.
Can you say RUDE? Fries are like eating your shoe Bad service Steak cheap cut no flavor Famous sauce bland I came here 20 years ago and it was amazing. Brought my family because of it. I even asked if the waitress could possibly smile and she grunted NON. Maybe a bad day but wow do not waste your money. Much better elsewhere.
This was the third time we visited this restaurant, and it pretty much has stayed the same post covid. The line for the first serving was long, but we got there about 6:20pm and were close to the start of the line. The service was prompt. In fact, we got our steak and frites about 5 minutes after sitting down. The meat was cooked medium to our liking, and we enjoyed two heaping servings of fries. The entrecote, while adequate (two small servings of about four or five slices) seemed to be smaller servings than we remembered. I ordered a small sparking water, and a large bottle was brought to the table. While the waitress exchanged it, we were also charged for both a large and a small water on the bill. I brought this to the attention of the waitress, and it was immediately rectified, but I would recommend reviewing your bill before paying. It is still one of our favorite places to visit while in Paris. It's fun, and the atmosphere is lively, without being too rushed. We even had a bride and groom eating nearby, and when they entered the room, everyone clapped heartily. It was a great evening in Paris.
