After a great day that discovered paris, we decided to eat American diners in this 50s. we were on some great Burger and French...Fries what we received was a total nightmare! it was really the worst food I eat my whole life! it was disgusting! the fön rides the sweet kartoffel fries like hundred years old and stank! the burger looked good, but tasted bad. also the fish bags were disgusting. everything smells and tastes bad! After she tried to communicate in English with the waitress who convinced us that she didn't speak English, what she did to the guests before, she just brought the reception with the full amount! we two tellers eat full, two angry men and the waitress just left the bill on the table and was never seen again! please all, if they don't want to ruin their journey to paris, they won't go to this diner! P.S: if you don't believe me, just take a look at the kitchen, it's right next to the toilet and looks as disgusting as eating smell and taste!
When I had a real offense for a burger and pommes in a red plastic basket, I went against myself and sat down inside. the other outlets when this chain is usually closed, but this is still surprising. I was sitting in the empty restaurant for about 15 minutes while the waitress outside spoke on her phone. she recognized me when I entered with a big smile, then ignored me when she was with a friend on the one and had a few cigarettes. when I finally ordered my burger, it came in about 3 minutes! barely cooked, thrown together in a flash with fries, which I am surely only reheated. When I told her that eating was not on par, she fell smiling and became more belly. I asked her to taste a French frit to see, and she told me she didn't need how she knows they were good. all this was not a problem of speech in French. when the waitress realized that I was fluent in the speech, she changed her story about eating and tried to talk about the cook! I told her I wouldn't pay for not eating and going. then she threatened to get the chef and defend herself. the last words I heard at the departure from her were « what a ! » stay away! even if tried, they take a close look at the place. it's dirty, run down and there's no customers in the rule. that tells them everything they need to know.
This 50-style place is located directly at the exit from the bastille metro and has amazing milkshakes. and the best part that during the happy hr is 2 for 1 to 7 o'clock! you have to try it! They are amazing!
Correct kitchen but dirty toilets, plus the arrival of the dishes overlooks the toilets located on the underfloor. a eviter
It is very expensive for what they get. not many Veggie options if they don't like burgers. When we arrived there, the waiters all sat outside (each one) and followed us when we came in, and they disappeared again and again, strangely. our waitress. did not speak English, which is fair enough, but if we read the menu items that have the same word in English and French (as for example karamell), they did not seem to understand and we had to show everything on the menu. I think she just went a little empty of nerves when she realized that we don't speak much French. the service was not fast and they forgot some things we had ordered. not much interaction or eye contact from each of them to each in the restaurant. eating was ok. pfannkuchen and chips were good. milkshake was a bit bland and disappointing. a massive positiw is that they sell rootbeers! I love that tool so I jump to get it everywhere.
