The best Mexican food in Parkersburg no question. The waitstaff is on-point, no empty drinks or empty chip baskets. I swear our food came 5 minutes after we ordered it. As busy as they were, I couldn’t believe that only 2 servers could handle the entire restaurant so well without falling behind. The owner even hops in and helps out with refills, delivering food, and seating tables when she has to, and she stops at every table to check in with customers in between. One thing you have to try is the dessert. The offerings here are unlike any other Mexican joint in town. The Bananillas are incredible. If you haven’t been here yet, just know this is nothing like it was when it was Tampico’s. The menu is mostly the same, but the quality of food is miles better than what was served under the old ownership, and it’s so much cleaner too.
