All India Cafe Pasadena

My experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. I had come here to enjoy a meal, but the service was very poor. It's disheartening to say this because I've had great service during previous visits. This time, I sat down and noticed that three other customers who arrived after me received their menus before I did. Ultimately, I decided to leave and eat somewhere else, which was really frustrating.

We had a wonderful dining experience in a lovely atmosphere. We made a reservation and were seated at a beautiful window table.

We ordered our drinks within five minutes and requested four glasses of water in addition. While our other drinks arrived, we had to ask for the water two more times before it finally came. After that, we received our appetizers quickly, but it took an entire hour for our main courses to arrive. Even the server didn't check in with us during this long wait to apologize or provide an update. It felt like the kitchen could only handle one table or order at a time. When our food finally arrived, the two orders of rice were overcooked and had a crispy texture. If you’re in the mood for Indian food, I suggest looking for another restaurant in the Pasadena area that values customer service and serves high-quality dishes.

Restaurant has not honored our reservation, and gave us the same waiting time as affordable customers (20-30 minutes.)

We went as part of LA Restaurant week. Delicious food although we did end up waiting a long time for the food, despite having reservations. The food was very copious and well presented. We will def return.
