I only wish I remembered the name of our waitress so her bosses can know that she 's a part of those 5 stars. I 'll start with the entrance, where you get an authentic Japanese feel starting with the giant Maneki Neko statue behind the host stand. I 'll continue with the fact that it was a packed restaurant, but the host still managed to find us a table almost right away despite not having a reservation. Then, the service. The waitress had a kind smile and was so happy to answer questions and accommodate our needs. She checked on us frequently, but was never intrusive. Then, of course, the food! Oh my goodness the food! I cook Japanese food at home, and have eaten at many Japanese restaurants. The teriyaki don bowl was perhaps the best teriyaki I have ever had. They were willing to accommodate that I needed mine without the vegetables. My dining companion had the same thing, but with the vegetables. We both enjoyed it so much! The rice was perfect, the sauce delicious, and everything cooked to perfection! They accommodated me not having green onions in my miso soup, and it was excellent soup. Right amount of wakame seaweed and tofu, great miso and dashi flavor. Even the pickled ginger we requested was so much brighter tasting and wonderful than the same at other restaurants! Their wine and sake selections are also excellent, and I especially recommend the sake nigori (I 'm blanking on the name of it, but it 's in the photos I uploaded. Something like perfect snow is in the name. If I were to have any complaints, there are two minor things. My dining companion ordered a Coke, and they brought out a glass of ice and a can of Coca Cola. He figured that meant no free refills, which is a little disappointing. The only other thing is that you have to call for a reservation, which wasn 't clear from their website and is why we didn 't have a reservation. We usually reserve online. Dietary restrictions: They accommodated all of my dietary restrictions which are due to allergies and autism. Parking: Great parking right up front. Wheelchair accessibility: I wasn 't in my chair, but I would feel comfortable going back when I am.
