The Cellar Door Cafe - PAYNEDALE

I stumbled upon this hidden gem while traveling south and was pleasantly surprised. The vineyard is located in a picturesque setting in Donnybrook, with stunning views of the vineyards and lush green hills. I treated myself to a tasting platter and tried some of their award-winning wines. I appreciated the fact that it is dog-friendly, and my dog Charlie loved his pupcake. Thank you for the warm hospitality, friendly service, and for making us feel so welcome.

We have been there twice in 3 days, thoroughly enjoyable. I think the wait person was Janelle and an extremely pleasant person. Also a young blonde girl also very pleasant,. We will be back again next visit, as we have been there 3 times and not disappointed. The SB wine and the Rose were beautiful, in fact we bought a carton of the SB to enjoy at home

The soup for lunch was delicious. My husband had the quiche and salad, and we highly recommend it.

Beautiful set up and peaceful location, we had a lovely relaxing lunch here last week. The food was just delicious! I had the best chicken pie ever, and the soups were so good we ended up getting some as take away for our dinner! I believe they make most (if not all! of the food themselves and their love for cooking clearly showed in the quality of everything we tasted. The host was very friendly too which adds to the overall experience. Definitely worth a stop!

Superb location for weddings, events or just enjoying the wine food while taking in the views from the terrace.
