Celaya Mexican - Pearland

After 18 years, I finally stopped seeing what I missed. Customer service was top notch from the start, so things are already going well for 8:00. My son is not a huge breakfast fan, so he asked his normal question: “Is the whole menu available?” Yeah, the day's gonna be better by the minute. Beverage order taken and chips and salsa on the way, I am seriously hungry at this point, so I can not wait, the chips are warm and crispy and the salsa is served in a bowl twice the size of most places. The first chip hit the salsa at high speed and followed a moment of bliss. The sauce for my son is the best he ate. It was smooth and warm with a lot of taste. It is a very mild salsa that can treat any palate. The first bowl was in record time with a second. The day at this moment is perfect. Now to our ducks. Entrees: Super Burrito. 8/10 A 12 inch flour tortilla filled with 5 ounces of grilled steak fajita, rice, beans, acid cream, salad, pico de gallo and guacammole. This is a phenomenal burrito. It's great for you to be hungry. The fajita meat was really tender with an excellent crust. The ingredients are your typical fare in a burrito, but the meat gives this one edge. Pollo Ranchero. 5/10 Grilled Chicken with Ranchero sauce. with rice, beans, pico de gallo and guacamol Let's start with the most important criticism, the Ranchero sauce needs some serious work. It's not really a sauce, it wants to be, but just not there. It also needs more season. The chicken was tender, but also suffered under a lack of spices. The guacamole, rice and beans were all really good, which helped save the dish. It wasn't terrible because I left a clean plate, it just needs a change. I have seen the good and bad reviews of Celaya and I can honestly say that the good outweighs the bad easily. Everyone has different tastes so that the sauce I love may not be the sauce you love. At the same time, that alone does not make it bad, just different. The great customer service and salsa makes it a must try if you don't. Do not forget to put any concerns into the administration, problems cannot be resolved if they do not know about them. Happy food!!!

First visit after life here in Pearland go to ten years now. the hot sauce and chips were perfect. I ordered from the lunch menu the Enchiladas were great and I added a crispy beef taco. Great food, great waiter. I will have gone back

Has a friend for her birthday. She took care of it so I had to try. Your salsa is served warm, which I wasn't super fan of Bit it was still good their search and guacamole were also good. What sold me is the steak queen. Definitely bomb, and ate the rest a little later and it was still so good!

This is our goal for solid, reliable mother and pop Mexican food in Pearland. We are always happy with the welcoming service, aromas and prices. Portions are generous and delicious. Very recommended!

Great staff and great food, I go there a lot and they know what I want to order, they are doing more than just their job, they are being great and awesome friends to their customers. Very nice people.
