Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWent here Sun 12th Nov with my work colleague after work. Had one of the best Sunday roasts I have had in years. Everything on the plate was delicious. Loads of different veg even the jug of gravy was soooo tasty. We will be returning in 2 weeks time. Can't wait.
Visiting from Australia had a wonderful time in the pub. The barman TIM was outstanding in his service, round of applause. Homemade food was excellent, ate there 3 days in a row! Chips to die for. We would recommend to anyone visiting. Dogs well looked after, given lots of treats.
Entered to find aged barman with long white hair just leaving the bar he asked what do you want drinks and a menu please in or out as we couldn 't see a beer garden we were confused so said in, we asked about a table we couldn 't see a reserved on but he rudely told us it was hence the sign on it which we couldn 't see as it was facing the wall. We had one drink and left and spent every night of our holiday in The Watermans where the staff were friendly.
Went to this lovely old pub for dinner for two nights in late August. Had a warm greeting and felt like welcome visitors. The food was traditional home made pub grub which was delicious. The chips were the main delight chunky and tasty! It would be nice to see more Welsh brewery ales on the beer menu but this was a great place for a real, local welcome. Remember to ask for a plastic glass if you want to sit outside and enjoy the scenery of the river and castle.
Visited last summer so looked forward to visiting again. Fantastic food especially the gluten free options and a a great atmosphere. Hope to visit again before we head home!
