The floors were extremely sticky, and no effort was made to address the problem during the several hours I spent there. 3. The young staff behind the bar were playing video games loudly over the speakers instead of focusing on their work to improve the establishment, which it desperately needed. I don't mind gaming, especially during slow times, but it shouldn't disrupt the ambiance or be louder than the background music. Prioritize your tasks! This place is in dire need of a thorough cleaning and regular maintenance. It used to be known for its cleanliness and vibrant atmosphere, but it now feels dingy, dirty, and somewhat dysfunctional. All it needs is some tender loving care and a little investment to restore its former charm.
I got a chance to try two Tea Do locations in Philly while I was here this one being first, and, unfortunately, worse than the other. We ordered: Green Coconut Milk Tea with Boba (3/5), Thai Tea with Boba (3/5)I will say that what 's great about this menu is how big it is, and you 'll probably be able to find your go to drink here as well as a ton of other options if you want to try something different. I 'm a big coconut milk tea person, but this 'Green Coconut ' drink caught my eye. I asked if it was a green tea based drink, but the person at the counter told me that it was actually a coconut milk tea that was made with a younger coconut, which meant that it would be sweeter and creamier. That sounded great to me, so I went ahead and tried it. This is absolutely NOT a creamier drink. I actually found it to be on the watery side, with these random punches of bitterness scattered throughout the drinking experience. What I will say is this boba had a pretty memorable flavor. Texture wise it was a bit too soft for my taste, but I appreciated that it had this sugaryness to them so it didn 't just taste like biting plastic. It 's also hard to deny the price coming from NYC, we 're so used to $7+ boba, so to get $5 6 boba meant so much to me. We got to try a few more drinks at the other location that may have skewed this, but in general I 'd say the University Place location was higher quality than this one.
I liked the variety of options they had here, tried the tiger milk tea which was not bad but the boba didn't seem freshly made when we ordered since it tasted a bit offFood: 3/5
Delicious and convenient! It was quite busy when I arrived (Saturday late afternoon), but the wait wasn’t too long. The milk tea and pearls were tasty and reasonably priced as well. Overall, a great experience! Food: 5/5
Without a doubt, the best bubble tea in Philadelphia! I often notice the same friendly staff working behind the counter, and they always provide outstandingly quick service. Food: 5/5
