Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónI came here once a while ago and had a really great experience the tacos were really good k even came back a second time to being my mom , but they served us some tacos with really cold tortillas where they even tasted raw and some were hot so I kind of ignored it. Came back a third time and was completely disappointed the beans tasted different they were 100% canned for sure and all of the tortillas were super cold, the avocado salsa was bland and I know for a fact it wasn't made from avocados. The inconsistency of this place truly was disappointing and as a Hispanic that knows good Hispanic food for all my colored people this ain't it. The whites think anything is good that's why these reviews are high but nah it's not it
First time in. Really solid. Goat tacos, Cervice Tostada and Refried beans all excellent. Could use some kind of background music and I would have liked a margarita, but all in all, it was excellent.
I visited this place for Cinco de Mayo as I was feeling festive. Viva México! Cinco de Mayo is a yearly celebration held on May 5, which commemorates the anniversary of Mexico 's victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862, led by General Ignacio Zaragoza. -Wikipedia As ALWAYS, I get the pastor tacos. I try to switch it up, but when you love something, you just love it lol. And guess what? The pastor had REAL pineapple on it, I repeat, REAL PINEAPPLES!!! YAAAYYYYYYYY!!! In a previous review, I ranted about how I would go to tacos shops for pastor, and the pastor wouldn 't have pineapples on it, but, instead, it was marinated in pineapple juice. I mean that 's cool and all, but it just don 't hit the same. I like my tacos just like I like my pizza, WITH PINEAPPLES!!! Yeah, I said it, PINEAPPLES BELONG ON PIZZA lol but back to the tacos... I was very pleased to have pastor tacos with pineapples on it. I also appreciated the fact that the tacos weren 't greasy. There 's a few taco spots I 've been to where the tacos were just sooooo greasy that it made you not want to eat it. This was not the case with these tacos. They weren 't greasy, the tortillas where good, the meat was marinated nicely (I would 've liked it a little bit more spicy), and there wasn 't a lot of fat in the meat, which I like. Because, eating tacos with too much fat is a yuck for me. Idk about y 'all, but it makes me queasy when there 's too much fat. I 'm a texture person, so, if something is too giggly-wiggly like eggs, jello, of flan, it 's a no for me. One thing I would 've liked to see in the restaurant was a sauce/toppings bar. With my plate, I was given cucumbers and radishes, but I enjoy the carrots w onions too. So, I was sad to not have that with my meal. Moreover, I enjoyed my meal with a Mandarin Jarritos in a cozy atmosphere. I will definitely return, and this time, I 'll try something other than pastor lol
The owners of Tacos Culichi, Adan Pulido and Dean Le, have locations at Westgate and 3004 E McDowell Rd. They have not paid their workers at the Phoenix location for over a month and have ignored their messages. Adan Pulido has also accused the manager at this location of stealing $17k. It's strange how he has accused two managers of theft when it's known that he has a gambling problem. They are stealing from honest working people, the elderly, and a single mom who has no one else to turn to. Help us expose these individuals who are taking advantage of others.
The tacos at this restaurant are amazing, and the service is great too. However, I would advise against coming here after 8pm. Despite their website stating that they close at 10pm, I have arrived multiple times between 8:45 and 9:15pm only to find that they are already closed. This has happened to me over 5 times, and as a taco lover, it is frustrating to make the drive only to be met with false closing times. I have since found a new taco spot, Tacos Calafia, where the food is delicious and they stick to their hours. The inconsistency at this restaurant has caused me to no longer be a loyal customer. I suspect that a particular lady with glasses is responsible for deciding to close early. It is important for businesses to stick to their advertised hours, especially for those who work late and are looking for a late night bite.
