Wendy's - Phoenix

I waited in line at the drive-thru for about 30 minutes. Given all that time, I expected my new chicken sandwich to be freshly prepared, but I’m pretty sure it was just microwaved. At least the frosty was still cold!

The woman in charge of taking orders was exceptional! Her organization skills were impressive. I tried the strawberry Frosty for the first time; it was average as I would have liked a more pronounced strawberry flavor. However, the fries were fresh and hot!

I understand that working in fast food can be tough, so I remained patient while waiting to place my order. However, the man in front of me had his order go missing, and I ended up waiting 15 minutes for my food. My friend behind me had to wait an additional five minutes. When I checked the bags, everything appeared correct, so I headed home. Unfortunately, when my wife opened her bag, she discovered only seven nuggets in her 10-piece order. While we know it's important to check our fast food orders for accuracy, I shouldn’t have to count every nugget to ensure I receive what I paid for. Having worked in customer service myself, including managing a deli at Walmart, I can empathize with stressed, overworked employees. However, after being as patient as I could with such poor service, finding an incomplete meal was just too much. I won’t be returning to this location.

Run of the mill experience. Which is good, it was hassle free and everything was delivered correctly. Order was quickly processed and the food was hot when it arrived. Nuggets were a little cooler and tasted a little older but were still nice to eat. No major complaints, just small things could have made it better.

This Wendy's is a Wendy's. Nothing against the employeee. They are in fact always welcoming and exceptional. Those facts are all the more impressive after taking into consideration the fact that this location is smack dab in the middle of a very action packed intersection. After all of that being said if you don't live in the area you'd probably be better off going to the one closest to you. Due to the location the hours are much tighter then you'd normally find at a Wendy's anyways. remark about hours based in fact while the rest TOTALLY based on opinion.
