Black Ginger Thai The Slate, Phuket

One of the most beautiful restaurants I've ever been to. Spectacular entrance. Access is via a boat managed by the boatman with a rope. Fabulous candlelight entrance The restaurant has several spaces: two interior rooms and a beautiful, super romantic terrace. Friendly and efficient service. We opted for the Phuket Indulgence tasting menu. Everything was wonderful. Perfect flavors accompanied by a very reasonable Bordeaux red. .Very good meal. We had the pleasure of chatting a little with the friendly Chef Piak and congratulating her on the excellent food. It's obviously not cheap but it's worth all the money you pay. I highly recommend

It is one of the best restaurants we visited in Thailand everything was very very tasty the atmosphere was great the service was very very good and the food was very very special going to the restaurant with raft was very unique we will surely will come back to this place again and again and again

Splendid restaurant probably the best one in Phuket. Nice food, really good service, magic atmosphere. Very expensive but the level is very high. I recommended once.

This restaurant creates a dramatic impression with the platform upon which you are ferried into the venue. The seating area around the outside bar and the main air-conditioned room are strikingly decorated and set the scene for the food. I am unable to eat gluten and the chef had adjusted to prepare a fully gluten-free tasting menu so that I felt fully included and could enjoy everything my wife did. Where normally I will make do with choosing from a corner of the menu, here, the chef went the extra mile to produce a delicious range of dishes. The cocktails I tried were also creative while remaining well-balanced. I highly recommend this restaurant and hope to have the chance to visit again before too long.

Stunning restaurant beautifully decorated, amazing views and bar. Cocktails, beer and water were reasonably priced. However, we did not feel the menu was straight forward we had to ask about rice and noodle dishes as they weren’t listed. There were other couples taking half an hour to choose and kept asking questions (so we weren’t the only ones). In the end we went for the set menu thinking this would give us a variation of dishes. Sadly we were both really disappointed, most of the dishes looked nice in appearance. The complementary dish was tasteless apart from the crispy onion sprinkles. The coconut ice cream dessert sounded delicious (one of the reasons I chose the set menu). When the dessert turn up there was a tiny spoon full of ice cream, with what tasted like a can of coconut milk over it with some shaped jellies things as well as some kidney beans floating in it! Needless to say we didn’t eat it! I did think to myself I have served up much better myself and considering this is meant to be Michelin star! No thought or presentation at all! We have had much better meals in Thailand for £20! SAVE YOUR MONEY GO FOR A DRINK THERE. SERVICE CHARGE IS 10% GOVERNMENT TAX IS 7% . CAME TO 6700 BAHT.
