Pearl's - Pioneer

My friend and I stayed on the way to Reno from Sonora California and were so impressed by the excellent quality of vegetarian meals. I had the veggie burger with lentil chip pea soup and she had the breakfast burrito with soyrizo as chorizo. I can't say enough about Ed and Pearl, the owners. The best hosts you could ever ask are really experts when it comes to gourmet café cooking and preparation. I also treated myself to a chai tea and my girlfriend had an iced tea with a splash of raspberry; incredible! We recommend both Pearl 's. This place was just amazing. We accidentally passed by driving and couldn't be satisfied anymore. The owners were friendly and the food was delicious. I cannot recommend this place enough!

My husband had always spoken about this place and I had to finally try...Home made quiche was brilliant! Very recommended. Fresh fruits great variety. Not your usual melons. Best homemade chocolate chip cookies also!!

Little jewel in the East Sierra. Have fun browsing the dining area for funny memories. For dinner called to go as a restaurant was near closing time both chickens Steak entrees were perfectly cooked. The next morning for omelette breakfast could not be satisfied anymore.

Quaint eatery just off of 88. Very welcoming staff, homey feel and great prices and selection of goods...from pastries sandwiches to coffee, mocha 's and breakfasts. Definitely worth stopping by. A true gem in the hills.
