Buena comida y testimonio amigable.
We ate twice here. the service was impeccable. the food was served on a (traditional) fast wise. both fish and meat are fresh and cooked as it should be. pisco sour is very tasty and quite expensive.
We had dinner here with 4 nights. we took an appetizer and main course. as an appetizer some of us took the vegetables, either cooked or slightly baked. as main course we have 2x spaghetti bolognese and 2 meat dishes. the quality was pretty good, but not great. the parts were huge and could have been much less for us. the people were usually very friendly and ready to help.
My man, my son and I spent 3 days in paracas and stayed in the doubletree by hilton. we wanted to eat in a local restaurant and asked our taxi driver to bring us to lunch to pisco, he suggested as de oro. my immediate impression of the restaurant was, it must be a more expensive place. but I was pleasantly surprised that it was cheap for tourists. although many locals visited. that was a good note that the place must be good. I ordered one of the daily special combs; rice with seafood, fried garnelen, conchitas a la parmesana, yuca fries and suppe. it was a delicious seafood plate, great arome and large portion. my man had bass cebiche and this was well made, fish was very tender and light. we had a pitcher of local drinks, chicha morada. this is a Peruvian drink made of purple mais, pineapple, nelken, zimtsticks, sugar and lemon. it is very refreshing and has a very unique taste. the service was exceptional, our waiter juan carlos was very attentive. he made sure we were well looked after. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone who visits pisco or paracas!
