Courthouse Tavern - Pittsburgh

They make some a really great old fashioned here. It was small inside, but I had no issues getting a table on a Sunday evening. We started with the fried goat cheese balls, and they were decent, but I'm not sure I'd try them again. We also tried the French onion soup, which was great. The Tavern burger and margarita pizza were both excellent. The hot sausage was good, but nothing to write home about. We would stop back in on our next trip.

Good location, reasonably priced drinks for downtown. Went with a friend, we ordered a variety of beers and poutine. Good selection of beers, wouldn’t whole heartily recommend the poutine but that could be personal preference. Talked to other groups at the bar, it was a very friendly place.Food: 4/5

Forbes is a great place to grab a beer or some food and watch a game. All of the bartenders are friendly and good at what they do. The food is fantastic. Been here many times and have never had a bad experience. Highly recommended.Food: 5/5

Fantastic little find in downtown. Great food. Service was wonderful. Well return again next time we are in Pittsburgh.

This little gem does not look like much from the outside, but when you go in, you will be really impressed. The service was fantastic and the young lady (Leah) was super attentive. Great job for just your second week! The food was fantastic and if you leave hungry, it is your own fault! The atmosphere was fun and the prices were excellent! This place is a must visit when you venture into Pittsburgh!
