Scooting around Lawrenceville trying beers. Hop Farm definitely fit the bill. Good service and good beer. Tried a habanero pale ale and one other I can't remember. Both were quite good.
One of the few places open on a Monday! Good food, great beer, plenty of space to spread out with kids for a casual night out. Get the nachos!
PROS: Tasty craft beers, very friendly staff, convenient ordering on your phone. Clean and trendy space with a fun atmosphere for shows and events. Staff offers sample sips of brews on tap; a nice touch for people still learning what they like. CONS:Slow kitchen service, and not much variety in either food or non-alcoholic drinks. We visited for standup comedy, and my wifedoes not like beer. I get that it's a brewery, but please throw a couple cans of Diet Coke on ice if you're gonna host a comedyshow. Two burgers $14.50 each, served with store-bought potato chips and a pretzel app $8, possibly bought frozen and heatedup took the better part of an hour to come out. Front-of-house staff seemed just as visibly frustrated as the customers aboutthis. Burgers and beer tasted great, but with parking also being a nightmare in this neighborhood, I'd say it's decent ifyou're already in town, but not a place I'd add to my rotation of faves. A few simple fixes could easily sway me to feeldifferently though.
Food was good, bartender was friendly (Herby? and most importantly the beer was great. Didn't know what to expect coming here for the first time but I left pretty satisfied.
