I ordered a $15 red pie, sausage for more $1, and half paprika/moushrooms for more $1. after controlling and due, this six cut pizza cost me about $18.50. the pizza is in the grunde a small loaf of focaccia brot with a heavy slender aftertaste on it. the cheese was very generic thinking power provolone. the sauce, sharp tasting, with a little rugged tomato, hard on the oregano. the people will try to say that the detroit pizza is. it is not-you will be disappointed. if they were at detroit and have eaten pizza, they would almost compare this to more a stouffers french bread pizza quality. this “pizza” is really just like eating a slender brot focaccia that they immerse in the sauce. 2 of 5. they must try to find the bad/average to find the good. ?
Pizza is very good! home made chips were also good. but it is very hot at this place. I don't know how people work there. the service was great!
We visited for the first with our grnadson who recommended it. we never had Detroit style pizza and loved it we split a veggie superior and he had the spicy cake. we all agreed that the pizza was excellent. also, having iron city beer was a real tasty bite. we recommend iron born very and will see us again at our next visit in pittsburgh.
The pizza at this restaurant in the heart of the Strip District is excellent. They serve Detroit style 6 square pizzas that are definitely worth the hype. Customers love both the spicy and classic pizza options. Plus, they have a selection of craft beers available.
This restaurant serves a pizza similar to Detroit style or Sicilian, but even better! A single pizza is enough to satisfy two people. The restaurant is small and can get busy during evening hours, so be prepared for a possible wait.
