It is certainly unique (the entire meal piled on) and all four of us loved the food. The service, like many places after COVID, took a little patience because they are overwhelmed with customers. So 5 stars for the food and 5 stars for a company that does its best to reach out to customers to always make things right.
We received great service and the food was good. It took a little longer than expected for the food but it was worth it. It was our servers first day and he was very nice. The bathroom was clean which is a plus.
It's a Pittsburgh tradition when we visit to eat here. Your whole meal is between two pieces of Italian bread. I got the Pittsburgher which is two hamburger patties,French fries, Cole slaw all in a sandwich.
Quintessential Pittsburgh sandwich shop. Most sandwiches served with fries and coleslaw inside. Full bar fronts E. Carson street. If you just want to eat I recommend entering on 19th Street and sitting in the back.
Highly recommended to us by others. Got the Raging Cajun. Something you just have to do while you’re in this fabulous city. Staff were knowledgeable and fun to chat with. Huge meal. Won’t be eating again for hours!
