Absolutely amazing!! Best customer service everytime!! Sweetest cook ever!!
Sure, the location has changed ownership a handful of times. They 've tried dual concepts, from pizza to now Indian food. It 's a rough spot for businesses in my opinion, there is very little parking there on Main St. if the spots are already taken up. But I continue to get fried chicken a handful of times a year from here because it 's consistent for mass marketed birds. If you are going to do just a handful of things then do them well. And the chicken is about as good as it gets for fast food style. Perfectly seasoned, maybe a tiny hint of spice and cooked to the perfect temp to ensure crispiness. I always get the dark meat, plus it 's a little cheaper. I don 't understand heathens who swear by white meat that has very little flavor. I tried the tenders one time and was even given one because they are cajun style so I wanted to make sure they didn 't heat up the mouth of the kids. Flavor is excellent and I didn 't taste spice at all. For the sides, the biscuits if freshly cooked are perfect, but they do tend to dry out quickly. My kids love the mac and cheese, it is very very yellow-cheesy and goopy, if that 's your style. I 'm ok with the mashed potatoes, they are definitely instant and I wish they had more gravy or at least it came on the side like KFC serves. I really like the customer service and camaraderie here. I 've been inside before on a busy Friday night and it 's mostly Indians chit chatting with one another. It has a very homely feel at times when in reality it shouldn 't because it 's just a storefront counter selling a handful of items. So let 's recap as to how we got to the final score.Location 3/5 starsChicken 5/5 starsSides 3/5 starsService 5/5 starsTwo of the most important areas in my book got this up to 4 stars for the type of food it is. Fast, friendly and the star of the show is delicious!
I recently tried the chicken from Sam's Gulf gas station/convenience store in Pittsfield, MA, and it was absolutely delicious if you're a fan of spicy Cajun deep-fried chicken. They serve whole, bone-in pieces as well as incredibly tasty boneless white meat chicken tenders. Their buttery blueberry biscuits are wonderful, and they offer a variety of sides including jambalaya, mashed potatoes with gravy, mac and cheese, greens, and dirty rice. They also have tasty dipping sauces for those who love to dunk their food. Don’t forget to grab a fountain drink for just $1.05 to go with your meal! This place is truly amazing. The only suggestion I have is to offer a non-Cajun option for those who aren’t into spicy food. Other than that, everything is excellent! I’m giving Krispy Krunchy Chicken a huge 5-star rating!
