Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónThe breakfast was good at this restaurant with new owners and a new name, "1967." However, the motel was very outdated with old-style TVs and a strong smell of carpet deodorant.
There are very few redeeming qualities about this restaurant. The servers do their best, but it is the only option in town. The cleanliness seems acceptable, and I have noticed some appetizing-looking pies. However, I wouldn't risk trying one as I am unsure of their freshness. Dining at 1667 feels like stepping back in time, with outdated decor and furnishings. My advice would be to drive right past this establishment. Despite multiple visits, I continue to be disappointed with every meal. The root of the problem lies with the menu, chef, and apathetic owner. The chef's skills are lacking, the owner seems disinterested, and the menu offerings are unappetizing. The food is consistently poor, heavy on fried items, and the restaurant often appears deserted. In my opinion, this may be one of the worst restaurants in Canada.
The lunch special at Place 67 is reasonably priced and delicious. Although we haven't stayed at the motel, we often visit for lunch.
We recently stayed here for one night and had breakfast at the motel restaurant. All of us had the vegetarian omelette, which came with potatoes and toast. No complainta - it was tasty and servings were generous. I would eat there again.
For dinner, don't get the fish and chips, fish tasted dodgy. Salmon was nice. Breakfast buffet looked good but didn't taste as good - over cooked and rubbery. Staff outwardly friendly, but not so. Not happy with motel or restaurant.
