La Campanina - POMIGLIANO D'ARCO

Well visiting Naples we were on a tour and the tour group took us to this restaurant. The restaurant knew that we were coming. There were about 40 people in our tour group. We were offered appetizers and an entrée. The entrées were either pizza or spaghetti with just a plain sauce. I am not a huge pizza person but my boyfriend and I decided I would choose one he would choose the other that way we could taste both. The pizza was a personal size pizza that was a good size but the pizza was very Joey and it was limp coming from New York it was not what we were used to. Naples is supposedly the birthplace of pizza so we knew we had to try the pizza while we were there. We were not very impressed by it. The spaghetti again was not anything to rave about. The service was not very good considering this tour group comes every day to this pizzeria at this time they should have been more prepared with having the food ready For when we got there and also having enough staff to handle 40 people coming in at once. I hope this was a one day thing for this restaurant otherwise I would not recommend it.
