The food is good, but the portions can be a bit too big. Prices are fair and the service is excellent. Perfect spot for a work lunch or a weekend getaway.

AMAZING experience from the road. the table was elegantly decorated. the waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive. wonderful variety of sweet and savoury tasty, all fresh and delicious. "high "ly recommended

We came for our dinner booking in their federal bar and restaurant, no booking could be found, after all they only show us on a table, give us a menu and disappear. in the background we can hear the personal scuttling to find another booking made by another couple. After 15 minutes the waitress comes past and stands next to our table and says “yes?” we stand on her side and she adds, “Do you want to drink or order food?” to order. we chose the four starter selection as a share plate and half a portion pasta with mushroom sauce and huh for our main thing. to say the starter plate was overwhelming would be an understatement. especially as the “signature dish” of the mini-pipe fleet consisted of two patties brand mini-party pies with cheap tomato ketchup glued on the plate with roasted frozen heaps. the mushroom aranchini were not much better than we cut them up, they were hollow. Luckily, the main course was pleasant and a good size for half a portion. the service left the side surely down, we even had to ask for table serviettes, since only a few space settings were placed with them. not what I would generally expect from accorhotels. the pullman in the hindmarsh square (also accorhotels) could show them something or two.

Despite the various issues, the WiFi is also unreliable at this restaurant. The Federal Bar is good and the staff is friendly and efficient. They are the standout feature in an otherwise basic hotel. The room is still chilly and the service is quick but erratic. Every day brings new discoveries.

We had a great stay at the Mercure Grosvenor Hotel. It is excellently located opposite the Casino and Convention centre and within walking distance to the Adelaide Oval. Lots of great restaurants and shops are very close by. The rooms were very comfortable. Reception...staff were very good polite and respectful each time we passed. While the rooms were standard, they were spacious, very comfortable and well appointed everything you need for a short stay when you are out all day exploring the city. The rooms were well priced. Most of all, I really appreciated the laundry facilities there are 2 on different floors. I was delighted to see this feature and it really is a selling point for a Hotel. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel
