Argento's Italian Bistro - Port Richey

We have two children, one of whom has special needs. As we waited for our food, our son became excited when it finally arrived. We were seated in a booth, and soon, two elderly couples sat behind us. Unfortunately, within just five minutes, one of the gentlemen turned to my husband and scolded us for our son’s movements, saying it was bothering him. I explained that our child was the reason for the disturbance and apologized, but he dismissively replied, “I know, I’m just saying,” before turning away. At that point, I asked my husband to take our son to the car. We then waited for our server to pack up our requested food, paid the bill, and left, feeling quite upset after a 30-minute drive home. If you have a child with special needs, this may not be the best dining option, as the clientele may not be very understanding. Unfortunately, my appetite was gone, and I don’t eat leftover pasta. This isn’t a reflection on Argento’s itself, but I wanted to share this for others who might have family members with special needs and may feel out of place in a setting that isn’t accommodating to children with disabilities.

We went to Argenta’s after my disconnect for my final chemotherapy to celebrate on Friday August 2. The food was amazing and Ellen the server was top notch. Probably the best server at any restaurant we have been to. She was attentive to our needs, kind, pleasant and highly efficient. She is definitely a keeper. We will be back and definitely asking for her. Keep up the great work.

The BEST desserts in the area hands down, especially if you like cheesecake.

I had a wonderful experience at Argento's in Port Richey. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the service was exceptional. I had dinner there, and the cost per person was about $20–30. Overall, I would give the food, service, and atmosphere a perfect 5 out of 5. I highly recommend it!
