Tiga - Port Washington

Tiga has phenomenal specialty rolls. Most are unique and made specifically at Tiga. My personal favorite is the Piece of Heart. The mix of flavors, meat, and toppings are ordinary and out of this world. Order the truffle fries! Nice atmosphere and servers!!Food: 5/5

We received a gift certificate here and made a reservation on a Friday night. We love sushi and sashimi and this place was disappointing. The sushi is very basic tuna and salmon and every roll was very sauce heavy. Although they are innovative on the combination of ingredients, we feel like they rely on the sauces. This is not the place if you actually enjoy your traditional sushi and sashimi . It's very small and expensive and the whole thing feels forced and pretentious. If you like authentic no frill sushi you are better off next block over at Yamaguchi. We will continue to go there for authentic sushi and service.

Excellent quality sushi and hot food. The owners work behind the sushi bar which is a nice touch! Will definitely be back.

Th food was all good. The Brussel sprouts in the Chilean sea bass was excellent. Uni was super tasty as well.

Tiga is an exceptional restaurant! I'm not even sure how I came across this place but we decided to stop by one random night and absolutely fell in LOVE! Their sushi is really good meat. Every time we go there we leave with a smile on our faces because of what we just ate. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time. When youre there, dont be shy to ask the waiters for their recommendations. We had a waiter that asked us what we like/dislike and based on our answers, she was able to make really great recommendations. For added fun, elect to sit by the sushi bar! Its a nice vibe getting to see the chefs at work. If you see something you like, you can ask them what it is and they will happily provide feedback. 10/10!
