Tried a little of everything from the buffet, all the breaded meat tasted like craft paste, the wonton soup is a small quantity of rice and a few pieces of chicken ground into a paste and formed into balls. I gave up on finding something good to eat and just filled a plate with some sort of mystery food, it was awful. 99% flavourless vegetables and a small quantity of mystery meat. How they can make so many vegetables so with so much salt so bland is beyond me. I 've had better meals that have the directions just add water I left my plate full of the food and told them to throw it out.
It is difficult to write a bad review when the owners were so friendly and personable. When we first walked in we notice an odour that was not Chinese food. I guess we got used to it because we both couldn't smell it after awhile. We went for the buffet. It is a small buffet with LOTS of breaded and deep fried foods. Nothing was labeled so I didn't know what I was taking until I ate it. There were only a couple of veggie dishes and the only dessert offering was jello. The food itself was ok. Pretty standard for a buffet. The owners were super nice and I would retry just because they were so nice. On a street with other Chinese restaurants and it still had several groups when we were there. Must mean something. Takeout was very popular while we were there.
This is my favorite chinese restaurant to go eat at. its buffet style. and the food is always hot and fresh and the service is always friendly and fast. the ambience is meh, its not a super pretty place but its clean. its also licensed and serves beer. on average per meal you pay about 13.00 with your pop included. they have an excellent selection to choose from and also have a menu to look at if u want.
The food was excellent and the prices were pre-covid pricing was a great Father's Day Lunch!!
