A fabulous find in the area of Portland, ME. Casual dining fueled by a deep menu of Japanese delicacies. Everything was wonderful.

Benkay has exceptional Sushi and service. If they have a horse mackerel as a special, I highly recommend you try it or get it. The setting is a very modern downtown Cafe that you would anticipate seeing in New York or Philadelphia.

The waitress was super nice! The food was amazing! This place is worth it. Have the tamago sushi, is so yuuumyy.

Do yourself a favor and go with the specials, whatever they are. Everything is great and very fresh. The sake flights are also fun.
