These include, but are not limited to: *Improperly repaired broken pipe leaking significant amount of sewage in crawlspace under building (OMG! . *rat infestations (almost every year . *cockroach infestation. *gnats in sweet sour sauce, *Raw duck hanging over ready serve dougnuts. *food thermometers non-functioning. *fridge temperature too warm. *shelves in fridge covered with mold. *employee not washing hands. *meat defrosting in mop sink *no soap or paper towels at hand wash sink. *date tags missing from shellfish containers. *chlorine dispenser on dishwasher empty. *cooked food not refrigerated. *unwashed knife with raw chicken on it. *encrusted grease on food-contact surfaces. These are the highlights from the last four years of inspection reports. They are temporarily closed. Let 's hope they can get their act together when they reopen!
Hmmm... I could have sworn I 'd written a review of Ocean City long ago. Despite continuous change on 82nd and on Division, this remains my favorite for reliable Dim Sum. The carts are well stocked and make the rounds very quickly. We never have a problem finding old favorites as well as newer, that looks interesting selections. Like pretty much all Dim Sum places I 've visited, I never have any kind of idea how much the total bill will be, but it 's always a reasonable amount when I take the check up to the counter by the entrance. I 've never had a problem getting a table right away, but most of the tables seem to be occupied when I visit, so clearly I 'm not the only fan of this place.
Food was wonderful and staff attentive.. highly recommend the scallops and calamari !!
UPDATE 01/20/18 Came back and the service was fast and attentive and very friendly staff. Positive vibes and hard workers. Dim Sum came out Hot and Fresh First time here for Dim Sum. It was good, not too salty dishes. Service was good for a place like this. -1/2 ?? we had to ask for our waters after sitting for 5 minutes
Can 't say that this was one of the best dimsum I 've ever had in Portland, because it tasted just 'okay '. The skins of the dumplings were somehow too thick and chewy (on my har gao, shrimp cheong fan and shrimp&cilantro dumplings). Turnip cake that I ordered was too soft and oily and I couldn 't finish it. The only menu that impressed me was xiao long bao. Service was not bad, I didn 't wait long to have the waitress came and offered the dimsum. But the cleanliness was below average. The tea cup I get was dirty. And even though they changed the tablecloth after the previous customers finished eating, I spotted some leftovers fell down to the chair and they just let them be.
