Despite being a bit crowded, there were still seats available. The setup inside was also pretty great. Overall, I really enjoyed my experience at this pub.
My husband and I decided to grab a beer at this restaurant. It may not have been the best bar we've been to, but the friendly bartenders definitely earned it an extra star in our book. We even won a Furphy's hat! Despite the limited options in town, it was a pleasant stop overall.
This charming little café was a pleasant surprise when we couldn't find a fish and chip shop nearby. The seafood trio I ordered was delicious, with the squid and chips being a standout. The whiting was also tasty, although the prawns and salad were a bit plain. The prices were reasonable, with the trio costing $19.90 and most other dishes priced similarly or even lower. The staff, while not overly friendly, were not rude either. The café offers coloring books and pencils for kids (and adults who enjoy them). Overall, it was a nice place to grab a meal.
Don't miss stepping back in time and enjoying a meal in this lovely dining room at the historic Macs Hotel. Extensive menu should have plenty of choices to please anyone and we witnessed many wonderful looking meals coming from the kitchen. Our own meals were delicious and large portions. You will not only enjoy your meal but the entire experience!
