I ordered some oxtail from Cocoa's takeaway and it was extremely terrible. The meat was sooooo tough, that I couldn't eat even one piece of it! Never me again!
I recently visited Coco's for the first time and was pleasantly surprised by the menu, which reminded me of my time working in Shepherds Bush. The staff, Dave and Mia, were very friendly and showed a genuine passion for the food they served. I tried the sweet chilli chicken and fried chicken, both of which were delicious with a crunchy coating. The menu also includes Oxtail and Goat curry, which I plan to order for a family night in. I highly recommend Coco's for its great value and high standards in takeaway food.
We always have to wait 1 hour 40 to 2 hours for takeout at this restaurant. The food consistently arrives cold and without any apologies. The plantain seems to be left out and reheated, resulting in a leathery texture, while the chicken is overly greasy. We keep giving them another chance because the chicken is good when it's hot, but we're tired of waiting so long just to be disappointed. The extra cost for a small amount of sauce is not worth it. If they can't handle delivery, they shouldn't offer it. It doesn't matter which day of the week we order, the service is consistently disappointing. Sorry Coco's, you were good before, but not anymore.
The goat curry, Jollof rice, and plantains at this restaurant are absolutely delicious. The dishes are well seasoned, spicy, and bursting with flavor. The meat is cooked perfectly on the bone, making each bite full of deliciousness. Overall, a great value for the quality of food you receive.
