Skeeter Jack's Outback Shack

We have tried to find a place to lunch between ferry, and this place was exactly what we were looking for. super casual and eating is homemade and delicious. I had the 2 pieces halibut and spinat salat. the fish was perfectly peeled and fried. the tartaric acid sauce is homemade and tangy. the salat had a great balance of sweet from the cranberries and saltiness of the feta. They also had a great selection of cheesecake and drinks. they even had no alcoholic beer for my man. service was also excellent. that is a hidden gem!

We have some time to kill and came over this jewel. the fish and chips (koleslaw) were excellent. the terrace is beautiful! I recommend this place before they go to the saltery bay ferry and get a bevie before location.

We came from the mainland and stopped a quick dinner. absolutely delicious burger and a delicious dessert to take it over the top. skeeter jack’s will definitely have to be on my list when I’m in powell river.

Skeeter jacks was recommended by the woman to check me into my hotel and I am so glad that I left. holy S**tballs was good! I had the bbq bacon burger. the blackberry vinaigrette was delicious, the BBQ sauce was not too sweet and the fries were golden and crispy. I have a piece of cheesecake to go home with me and it was just as good as the rest.

Just up the road from my mom's place. I can never resist their desserts. Always have such different cheese cakes and service is always top notch. A Great hole in the wall to stop and mow down at while driving through PR
