We're coming back! No matter that the menu was small, we were happy with everything. Contact with the staff was minimal, but not bad, they were kind when they interacted with us, and they understand English.
Four years ago, we stumbled upon this hidden gem and it was even better back then. Today, it continues to impress with its top-notch ambiance, attentive staff, and delicious flavors. Each dish was perfectly seasoned and bursting with taste. This restaurant has become one of our top 5 favorite meals. Make sure to reserve a table in advance.
Difficult to locate, but situated just beneath the castle, this restaurant is definitely worth the search. It has a small and unique atmosphere that is very relaxing. The food is also fantastic! We tried the beef goulash and pork knuckle (kolanko). I am a pork enthusiast and have tried it all over, from Finland to Switzerland, and this was one of the best I have ever had. Pair it with a good beer and you won't be disappointed. Plus, the prices are 30% lower than in the old town. My advice is to not spread the word too much, as I don't want it to be overrun by tourists.
Traditional Czech cuisine. It's a small place, so try to make reservations before you come. The server was really nice. Enjoy the pork bones, cabbage soup and the fried cheese was mouthwater. Credit cards accepted.
The restaurant offers excellent Czech home cooking in a relaxed atmosphere, without any pretentiousness. The service is great and the prices are very reasonable. It's a perfect spot to dine whether you're a solo traveler or with a group. This gem is located in a popular tourist area, so it's recommended to make a reservation in advance to ensure a table.
