Contribuir a la retroalimentaciónWho goes to Prague to eat Mexican food? We do! Especially if it comes highly recommended and Agave did. We starters off our meal with a cola braised pork belly that I put some homemade mango habanero salsa on. Probably the best dish I ate all weekend! I pulled off finishing a California burrito (adding more habanero salsa) and it was delicious. My wife had the tacos Dorados de Birria and she really loved it. To finish the meal, they only had one dessert on the menu, plantains. When I told the manager I was hoping for churros he went to the kitchen and out comes churros, handmade. What a host! We'll definitely head back when in town.
What a fantastic find right across from the flat I stayed at in Prague! The decor is spectacular with nice ambient lighting and a cozy, yet refined and upscale feeling. The food was stellar from the amuse bouche all the way thru to dessert. The drinks where also presented in high fashion. I highly recommend this restaurant (I even went back the next evening) in the heart of old town Prague!
I was surprised to see how many Mexican Restaurants exist in Prague. This one came across one of my feeds so we added to our list. The restaurant is beautiful but casual. Lots of drink options. I've spent 20 years in Ca. So have some expectations. The chips were ok and the guacamole was tasty. I had the fried avocado's tacos and they were tasty. Others had a quesadilla with. Strawberry Margarita and I had the Agave special. I really enjoyed the food and ambiance so add it to your list.
I admit it was a bit expensive, but the food was so good and the service attentive and friendly, I can't complain about the price. Spicy sauces were available to add extra punch, but the dishes alone had such great flavor. I've been living in Europe for a couple years and to find some good Mexican food is alway a treat worth paying for.
Really great service! Our waiter was Stefan and he was such a gem! I took just one star away because my Iberian tacos could have been seasoned better and some of the flavors felt traditionally Czech vs Mexican but that was also to be expected. The food was fresh and the menu unique. Give them a try.
