Excellent 'chippy ', I ordered fish and chips (traditional, I know which was delicious and served with a smile by the well-friendly and chatty owner. I enjoyed the fish and chips at the side of the River Ribble after completing the Guild Wheel cycle ride, It was the end of a perfect day, I suggest you try it! Fortune House, well worthy of 5 stars!!!

We first discovered Fortune House over 10 years ago when we moved nearby, and it quickly became a go-to spot for dinner after work. Nowadays, we mainly use their delivery service, which is always reliable, with the food arriving exactly when they say it will. I do sometimes miss the warmth of dining in. Just last week, we found ourselves wondering how many times we've ordered from them—it must be in the hundreds. We've never had a bad meal; everything has consistently been delicious. We always stick to the Chinese menu, and the crispy duck with spring onions is a perennial favorite, though we've liked everything we've tried. It's far superior to anything available on delivery platforms like Just Eat in the PR1 area. We’re looking forward to enjoying another 10 years with them!

I dined here for the first time tonight, and it certainly won't be my last! The food is made fresh to order and absolutely delicious. We tried the crispy beef, special fried rice, chicken with spring onions, and ribs, and everything was excellent. I highly recommend this place!

This is simply one of the best Chinese restaurants in Preston. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and the food is consistently amazing. Be sure to try the salt and pepper ribs—they are a must-try, even if they take a bit longer to prepare. It's definitely worth it!
