Taste the warm ginger cake before them, no matter what! it is in their mouth melting and warm their mouth delicious.
To be honest, our family has been a holiday home in wellington, ontario for over 100 years. So the city is not new to us. we've been going to the Dairi bar for several years. last Sunday evening (Labor-Tageswochenende) we did it there. after a nice dinner at one of our last nights of summer. I guess we arrived at 7:45 7:50 tops. the gale in register actually said in a vote happens all the time, try to close and a line form they stood there where the dinge ran in haste, while our family of six put a command before a family of six. the mop was also outside. here is the best part. an older couple pulls in when we sit on the picnic bench and it's not 20 o'clock and they wouldn't let them in. imagine being turned away because disgruntled staff do not enjoy a job or serve others. there is a lot of fun, hipster people in this city. I very much suggest that this business sits down and a working party meeting on the work for others or the employment of people who serve with a smile. the ice is good. but the staff is mad.
They love eating and the milkshakes there. best deep-fried cheesecake. must be back. large prices also
This location gets a lot of traffic coming into town. It’s bright and open, with an Ice Cream counter on one side and a restaurant on the other side. I ordered the Mediterranean Grilled Chicken Burger, since the server said it was the best Chicken...Burger on their menu. Sides were an extra cost. The bun was nicely toasted. The chicken breast was a good size and juicy. No complaints there. It’s just that the Burger lacked flavour. It didn’t remotely taste Mediterranean, which is what I was expecting. It did have lettuce, tomato, a couple of pieces of red peppers and tzatziki sauce, but it just tasted like a normal Grilled Chicken Sandwich. Perhaps, they could have ditched the large slices of tomato (which made the sandwich too sloppy . They could have instead used cucumber, chopped tomato, feta cheese, lettuce and proper tzatziki sauce (yogurt mixed with lemon, olive oil, garlic, dill etc.. to give it proper flavour. A lot of restaurants just throw plain yogurt on something and call it tzatziki sauce. As I said, the Burger was ok, but a few simple changes and it could be really good. Service was a bit slow and a bit impersonal by my server.
